Relay for Life
Our 2010 Curves Team raised $20,237 making our Curves the
LARGEST fund raising group! Thank you to everyone who made this year so
successful, we couldn't have done it without your help!
We are proud to be a part of the
American Cancer Society National Team Program
We have held the following
events to raise money for Relay for Life:

“What
were they thinking?” auction: In January, members brought in gifts given to
them during the holidays that they would not use for themselves and auctioned
them off
·
Purse
auction: We all have purses that sit in our closets waiting to be used, members
brought these in to be auctioned
·
Yard
Sale: In March, various items such as kitchenware, plants, antiques, and much
more were sold to raise Relay for Life money
·
Basket
auction
·
Jewelry
auction: our most recent event that took place this May was extremely
successful and members had a great time bidding on lots of pretty jewelry!
Thank you for your interest and
support for this very important cause. This is the fourth year Curves has
been participating nationwide in Relay for Life and recognized through the
National Team Program. We are thrilled about the difference that our
franchisees and their friends and families across the country can make in the
fight against cancer.
We walk to honor the survivors
of cancer, remember those who were lost, and to fight back by raising funds to support
the efforts of the American Cancer Society.
